A lonely rider
A special vintage. Rollercoaster weather was the hallmark of 1979, and once again, only Château Palmer managed to overcome these difficulties. Maturity levels were good, while the yield was controlled and the grapes in small but healthy bunches gave lively tannins and good acidity. The result was a great wine.
